What happens when we give excuses to the Parmeshwar?

In his discourse dated 25th December 2003, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu says we never speak the truth even to the Parmeshwar and keep giving excuses to Him. Bapu says that when we give excuses, it is as good as being a slacker and, therefore, also a thief.

Bapu further explains how the Parmeshwar then takes the decision, with regards to such a person, to either treat him like Arjun or Shishupal.

आम्ही परमेश्वराशी सुद्धा कधी खरं बोलत नाही व त्याला सबबी देत राहतो. हे सबबी देणे म्हणजेच कामचुकारपणा करणे असते व चोरी करणेही, असे सद्गुरु श्री अनिरुद्ध बापू त्यांच्या २५ डिसेंबर २००३ च्या प्रवचनात सांगत आहेत.

बापू पुढे स्पष्ट करतात की परमेश्वर मग कसा अशा व्यक्तीच्या बाबतीत, 'त्याचा अर्जुन करावा की शिशुपाल' हा निर्णय घेत असतो.
