India bolsters it's defence preparedness
IAF tests Akash and Igla missiles
Mumbai: The Indian Air Force (IAF) tested indigenous Akash and Russian-made Igla missile at the Suryalanka Air Force Station in Andhra Pradesh. War exercises were being held on the air force base from 23 November to 2 December. It is said that the tests were conducted during these exercises.

New Delhi: Indian Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has started a spate of testing, various versions of the supersonic BrahMos missile. On Tuesday, another test of the supersonic BrahMos missile was conducted in the Andaman-Nicobar Islands.

Kochi: Basin Trials – the trials in shallow waters, of the first-ever indigenously built aircraft carrier ‘INS Vikrant’, were completed successfully. Sources in the defence ministry informed that the marine trials of Vikrant would be started at the beginning of 2021.

New Delhi: – After the deployment of the Garud from the Para Forces of the Air Force, along with the Special Frontier Forces, now the Pangong lake region will be patrolled by the elite MARCOS unit from the Indian Navy and special boats for this purpose will soon be sent there.

New Delhi: – The Indian government will be spending ₹3.5 trillion (USD 51 billion), over the next ten years, to strengthen the Indian Navy, who is responsible for the security of the Indian marine borders. The Minister of State for Defence, Shripad Naik announced that new warships, submarines and other ultramodern equipment would be purchased, with these funds.

New Delhi: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India that has been carrying out a spate of missile tests over the last three months tested the Army version of the BrahMos supersonic missile on Tuesday. The test was conducted at Andaman-Nicobar Islands, under the supervision of Indian Army officials.

New Delhi: – Indigenously developed torpedo, Varunastra, was inducted in the Indian naval fleet on Saturday. The strike range of the torpedo is 40 kilometres and has the capability of carrying out an attack at 70 kilometres per hour. This will augment the strength of the Indian Navy.

New Delhi – The second phase of Malabar war exercise of the QUAD countries with 70 warships, submarines and the aircraft carriers, USS Nimitz of the United States and INS Vikramaditya of the Indian Navy, started on Tuesday. As per analysts, India, the United States, Japan and Australia have delivered a direct message with these exercises to China.
