How can one take the first step to bring purity to one's life? - Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu

It is wrong to ask God to teach a person a lesson just because they fought with us. It does not necessarily make them bad people; they may have a bigger treasure store with the Parmeshwar. So, while we may voice our grievance to God by telling Him that the person is troubling us, we must also think about whether we have committed any mistake. If we have done so, it is important to acknowledge our mistake before God, even if we do not do so before that person. Doing this can help straighten out all things for us in life.

However, when we are not truthful to God, it creates impurity in our life. Therefore, we must stop creating such impurity. This path (with the Parmeshwar) is a Dwividha Marg or a two-way street. It means the Parmeshwar returns to me what I have given him boundlessly, but when I send impurity to Him, adversity is sent to me but in the inverse order. Where one adversity proves troublesome to us, imagine what a truck full of adversities would be like.

In this way, we shut down the royal path that the Parmeshwar has reserved for us for improving our lives and do not understand the reason behind it. We should get busy in trying to resolve this problem. We must stop being untruthful with the Parmeshwar and bring purity into our relations with Him. Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu tells us this in his discourse from 25 December 2003.

एखादी व्यक्ती आपल्याशी भांडली म्हणून आपण देवाला 'त्या व्यक्तीला बघून घे' सांगणे चुकीचे असते. ती व्यक्ती आपल्याशी भांडली म्हणून काय ती वाईट आहे असे नाही; परमेश्वराजवळ त्या व्यक्तीचा मोठा खजिना असू शकतो. म्हणूनच, ती व्यक्ती आपल्याला त्रास देत आहे हे सांगून आपण आपली तक्रार देवासमोर मांडू शकतो, पण त्याचवेळी आपण काही चूक केली आहे का याचाही विचार केला पाहिजे. जर आपण चूक केली असेल, तर देवासमोर ती मान्य करणे महत्त्वाचे आहे; मग आपण त्या व्यक्तीसमोर तसे केले नाही तरी चालू शकते. असे केल्याने आपल्यासाठी जीवनातील सर्व गोष्टी सुरळीत होऊ लागतात.

आपण देवाशी खोटं बोलल्याने मात्र आपल्या जीवनात अशुद्धी निर्माण होत असते. म्हणून, आपण अशी अशुद्धी निर्माण करणे थांबवले पाहिजे. हा (परमेश्वराबरोबरचा) मार्ग द्विविध आहे. याचा अर्थ असा, की मी परमेश्वराला  ज्या प्रमाणामध्ये पावित्र्य देतो त्याच्या अनंत पटीने पावित्र्य तो मला देत असतो; परंतु जेव्हा मी त्याच्याकडे अपवित्रता आणि अशुद्धी पाठवत राहतो, तेव्हा मात्र ती अपवित्रता आणि अशुद्धी माझ्याकडे संकटे बनून येते परंतु कमी प्रमाणात. जिथे एक संकट आपल्याला त्रासदायक ठरते, तिथे एक गाडीभर संकट कसे असेल याचा विचार आपण करायला हवा.

परमेश्वराने आपले जीवन सुधारण्यासाठी जो 'रॉयल' मार्ग दिला आहे तोच आपण बंद करत असतो आणि त्यामागचे कारण आपल्याला समजत नाही. हा प्रश्न सोडवायच्या मागे आपण लागले पाहिजे. आपण परमेश्वराशी खोटारडेपणाने वागणे थांबवले पाहिजे आणि त्याच्याशी असलेल्या आपल्या संबंधामध्ये पूर्ण पावित्र्य असले पाहिजे. सद्गुरु श्रीअनिरुद्ध बापू २५ डिसेंबर २००३ च्या त्यांच्या प्रवचनात असे सांगतात.

सरतेशेवटी, बापू स्पष्ट करतात की आपण आपल्या जीवनात पहिले पाऊल कसे उचलू शकतो पवित्रता आणण्यासाठी; पवित्रता जी परमेश्वर आपल्याला मुक्त कंठाने द्यायला तयार असतो आणि आपल्या जीवनासाठी आवश्यक असते.
