December 2025

From the Editor's Desk

Hari Om Friend,

The month of December unfolded as a spiritually enriching period for Shraddhavans, offering numerous opportunities for Bhakti and Seva. Auspicious occasions such as Datta Jayanti, Shree Vardhaman Vratadhiraj, and Purvaranga – Phase 2 of Shree Purushartha Aniruddha Dham added depth, devotion, and collective spiritual momentum to the month, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated.

Datta Jayanti Utsav at Shree Sadguru Punyakshetram

Datta Jayanti, the sacred birthday of Shree Dattatreya, is observed on the auspicious day of Margashirsha Pournima. Sadguru Shree Aniruddha teaches, “Guru devotion is devotion to Shree Guru Dattatreya; He will be the saviour of mankind in Kali Yuga.”

Inspired by these profound words and under the divine guidance of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha, the Shree Datta Jayanti Utsav has been celebrated with deep devotion in Amalner since 2017. Over the years, the Utsav has grown into a spiritually uplifting tradition, drawing Shraddhavans into the collective experience of Bhakti.

During the festival, devotees immerse themselves in various devotional activities, including the palanquin procession, worship of Shree Datta Panchayatan, hymn recitations, and yadnya, experiencing the pure bliss and sanctity of devotion to Shree Datta.

As Shree Datta Jayanti also marks the auspicious commencement of the Shree Vardhaman Vratadhiraj, devotees visit Punyakshetram every year during this period in the month of Margashirsha.

In addition, Datta Jayanti was also celebrated with devotion at Shree Harigurugram.

Shree Datta Palakhi Sohala at Shree Sadguru Punyakshetram

In accordance with the  vision of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha, the construction of Shree Sadguru Punyakshetram has commenced in Amalner. As an integral part of this sacred endeavour, the Shree Datta Jayanti Utsav is celebrated here every year with deep devotion.

On the auspicious occasion of Shree Datta Jayanti, the festival unfolded in a serene and spiritually charged atmosphere, with Shraddhavans participating wholeheartedly in a spirit of joy and devotion.

A highlight of the celebrations was the Shree Dattatreya Udikumbh Palakhi procession. As devotees accompanied the Palakhi with bhajans and various devotional activities, the entire environment resonated with Bhaktibhav Chaitanya, offering participants a deeply uplifting and transformative spiritual experience.

Aniruddha’s Universal Bank of Ramnaam – Arpan Patrika Poojan

With the heartfelt intent that everyone may benefit from writing the sacred Nama, Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu made the Ramnaam Book and the Anjanamata Book available to all Shraddhavans. Simple, graceful, and effective, these books serve as meaningful aids for chanting and constant remembrance of the Nama.

On 15th December 2025, the Poojan of the Arpan Patrika of the sacred Ramnaam books—written and lovingly offered by Shraddhavans—was performed in a deeply auspicious and devotional atmosphere.

Here, we share a few glimpses from this sacred Poojan ceremony.
