Hari Om Friend,

During the month of October, we celebrated Ashubhanashini Navaratri, Vijayadashami Utsav, Shree Dhanalaxmi Utsav and Shree Yantra Poojan. Celebration of Diwali festival in the same month added to the festive fervour over and above the spiritual atmosphere.

While attending Shree Yantra Dhanalaxmi Poojan Utsav, Shraddhavan friends of Sadguru Aniruddha donated Diwali faral, delicacies such as ladoos, chivda, chakli, shankarpale, etc. which were collected and distributed in areas where people are not able to afford it, thus sharing the happiness with them and illuminating their faith in society.

In such devotional and festive atmosphere, the Shraddhavan volunteers keep serving the society by participating in various devotional services, thus bringing into practice the teachings and preaching’s of Sadguru Aniruddha.

Vijayadashami Utsav

Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation

In one of his discourses in the year 2012, Sadguru Shree Aniruddha had elaborated the significance of celebrating Vijayadashami, the day of Seemolanghan or expanding our boundaries. This day is crucial for increasing our competencies and potencies. On the Vijayadashami day, poojan (worship) of Goddess Saraswati is performed wherein tools and weapons are worshipped. It implies knowledge and bravery are worshipped on this day.

Moreover, as per the guidance of Sadguru Aniruddha, all Shraddhavans gather at Shree Harigurugram to perform 'Vijayopasana’. It is on this day that the weapons which are a part of the 'Ancient Indian Martial Arts' are worshipped.

This year, the Vijayadashami Utsav was celebrated on 10th October 2019.

Bapu addressed all the Shraddhavans and talked about the significance of Vijayadashami and worshipping Mother Saraswati and Mahasaraswati on the day.

Shree Yantra Dhanalaxmi Poojan Utsav

Dhanatrayodashi is considered an auspicious day to secure blessings of both Adimata Mahalaxmi and Bhaktamata Shree Laxmi.

One can easily secure the grace of Adimata and Bhaktamata by mere worship and darshan of the Shree Yantra.

Sadguru Shree Aniruddha has described the Shree Yantra as follows - the Shree Yantra is a fortress, which is the abode of Adimata.

The mere darshan of the Shree Yantra with faith provides strength to the 108 centres in the human body.

It is also a venerable medium for receiving the Shodasha Aishwarya. The entire power, strength, prosperity and wealth of the universe is subject to the 'Shree'.

Thus, Shraddhavans celebrate the Shree Yantra Poojan and Dhanalaxmi Utsav at Shree Harigurugram with great devotion under the guidance of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha to acquire all kinds of worldly and spiritual prosperity.

Mokhada CSR Visit

On 20th October, a one-day Corporate Visit was arranged to Mokhada. CSR Teams of Stockholding Corporation of India Ltd and Control Union participated in the visit.

The participants were given a brief on various devotional services in Mokhada. The team visited 3 villages – Gandhipool, Toranshet and Pawarpada.

To address malnutrition in Mokhada which is a perennial problem, a unique project of “Charkha Annapurna” was started in Mokhada in the year 2016.

Charkha Annapurna is a unique project wherein the beneficiaries, the local villagers, are trained to operate Charkha. Charkha, raw material and training are provided free of cost to them.

The beneficiaries receive 250 gms of rice and 50 gms of dal for every hank spun on the charkha. The hanks are further processed, dyed and are used to make school uniforms which are distributed free of cost to the villages in Kolhapur and Mokhada.

This project has been a means of livelihood for several families in Mokhada.

The project was initiated in Gandhipool village with 12 Charkhas in September 2015.

Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation At present, Charkha Annapurna is implemented in 12 villages with 60+ charkhas benefitting 250+ families.

Apart from Charkha Annapurna, volunteers assist villagers in building Vermiculture pits near their houses.

The waste generated in households and farms is used in vermiculture. The vermicompost and vermi wash are used in farms as organic fertilisers.

Besides, Parasbaug or Kitchen Garden is another novel initiative for which villagers are trained by volunteers. Vegetables are cultivated in the backyards in a small area.

Typically, vegetables like bottle guard, pumpkin, chilly, brinjal, ginger etc. are grown.

The visiting corporate participants interacted with the local villagers, and they could experience the change in their lives. Moreover, they felt an urge to suggest certain points and try their best to support the initiative.
