In March 2006, Bapu (Dr. Aniruddha Dhairyadhar Joshi) began an articles series on the subject - 'Third World War', and in the very first issue of it, he wrote - "A study of the history of the last hundred years, i.e. of the so-called scientiﬁc era would clearly indicate the real causes underlying the various struggles for power as also their consequences. It was only in the last century that two world wars followed by the cold war, which was even more horrible, shook the entire earth.

We have to review the current situation after a brief study of the two world wars because the study clearly points to the fact that the circumstances and relations responsible for the second world war are identical to those being established and demolished today and that, it is 108% certain that the world is advancing rapidly towards the third world war. All that remains now, is an actual inauspicious moment that the super powers and their adversaries need to look for and in all probability it will easily be handed down to them by fate itself." The World War series has been compiled and published as a book in Hindi, Marathi and English.

Today the world is poised at such a juncture where the Third World War is coming ever closer and the effects of the same can be experienced at different levels from grass roots to the very top. Bapu says, "It is in the dark that evil strikes. Ignorance of the blatant reality around, is darkness. To dissipate the darkness....". This site is launched with this very specific cause.

I firmly believe that ‘Dainik Pratyaksha’ and both these sites will aware Shraddhavans of the reality and help them to tide over the difficult times.

The past 3-4 years have seen conflicts developing worldwide and worsening by the day, rather by the hour. Nations across the globe have more or less been polarized and now in the year 2018, ongoing conflict has come to be an everyday affair in several parts of the world and that indeed is the reality. Horrific human brutality stomps wild and defiant on the lands of Syria, Libya, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel-Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Nigeria, Venezuela, etc.; in fact in more than 60 countries. Moreover tensions are extremely high in Europe-Ukraine-Russia, South China Sea, India-Pakistan, Saudi-Iran, etc. and are poised at such junctions that they may catapult into a full-scale conflict to be a part of the Third World War.

Inspite of this, the common man is largely unaware about the gravity and effects of the situation. During the month

Aniruddha's Academy of Disaster Management (AADM) activities during the month of March 2018

Two Basic Training courses conducted during the month received a very enthusiastic response from participants

34 shraddavans participated in the course conducted at Shri Keshav Rambhau Kotkar Secondary and Higher Secondary School, P – 12, Near Mamata Hospital, MIDC, Dombivali East. Course was conducted by our Dombivali East Upasana Kendra during the period March 26, 2018 to April 1, 2018.
21 shraddhavans participated in the course conducted at Dyansagar Vidyalaya, Ganesh Nagar, Behram Baug, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai Course was conducted byour Jogeshwari West Upasana Kendra during the period March 26, 2018 to April 1, 2018.

Two Corporate Courses were also conducted during the month

1. 45 workmen and staff members of Raychem RPG Pvt Ltd. participated in this course conducted at Raychem RPG Pvt Ltd, Vasai East on March 10, 2018 as part of their Safety Week celebration.This programme was conducted at the request of Raychem RPG Management who were keen on making their employees aware of disaster management. Participants actively participated in the course which also included a fire fighting demonstration. The course was highly appreciated by the participants as well as Raychem RPG Management for its content and the exposure it provided to the employees.

45 students and non-teaching staff members of SMBT College, Ghoti, Igatpuri, Nashikattended an introductory lecture on Disaster Management on March 17, 2018.This programme was conducted at the specific request of the Dean on SMBT College. In addition to the lecture, it also included a table top exercise and a fire fighting demonstration.

Other AADM Seva

AADM volunteers provided traffic and crowd management support to the local authorities at the following public events during the month of March 2018. This seva was offered in response to requests received from the local authorities organizing these major events as well as local Police departments.

At Shree Kanifnath Devasthan Trust, Madhi, Taluka-Pathardi, Dist. Ahmednagar on March 6, 201848 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs) actively participated in this seva.

At Sansthan Shree Sant Eknath Maharaj Vishwast Mandal, Paithan from March 6 to March 9, 2018. In addition to crowd management seva, a Medical Check-up facility was also organized at the venue on the auspicious occasion of ‘NathShashthi’ festival.273 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs) including 120 Veeras offered this seva. 1396 visitors at the festival took advantage of the Medical Check-up facility.

1. At Shree Shamrao Patil Vidyalaya, Mitra Nagar, Latur on March 28, 2018 on the occasion of JyotibaBhandara.20 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs) offered this seva at the venue.
2. At Saptashrungi Devi Mandir, Vani during the auspicious Chaitra Navaratri Festival which was celebrated from March 29 to March 31, 2018.504 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs) including 230 Veeras offered this seva where thousands of devotees had gathered to pay obeisance to their beloved Goddess.

1. At Jyotiba, Wadi Ratnagiri, Kolhapur on March 30-31, 2018 on occasion of Chaitra Yatra. This seva was offered in three shifts over two days by 417 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs)

1. At Shree Jyotirlinga Fair, Girjawade, Tauka Shirala, District Sangli on March 31, 2018 where 111 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs) offered seva. Thousands of devotees from Satara, Sangli and other parts of Maharashtra had thronged here to pay obeisance to their beloved God Jyotiba.

1. At Gaondevi Durga Mandir, Gilbert Hill, Andheri West on March 31, 2018 on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Pournima Utsav.21 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs) offered seva at this venue.

1. At Shree PatnaDevi Mandir, Chalisgaon on the occasion of Vasantik Chaitra Yatra on March 31, 2018 and April 1, 2018.47 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs) offerred this seva at the venue.

AADM Vermiculture Project

At the request received from the Society Management Committee, a Vermiculture Demonstration was organized at Disha CHS, Chikoowadi, Borivali (W), Mumbai on March 18, 2018 where effectiveness and simplicity of the process of decomposition of waste was explained to 22 Society members. Participants found the demonstration very informative and may start the project initially at the household level. The scale may be expanded later as they get more understanding of the process so as to convert all waste generated by the Society into compost.

Pulse Polio Seva

Since last few years, Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management has been assisting various Municipal Corporations in conducting their Pulse Polio drives.
